Upcoming shark talk by John Chisholm


The Duxbury Beach Preservation Society (DBPS), a subcommittee of the Duxbury Beach Reservation, Inc. is proud to present John Chisholm, Marine Fisheries Biologist. This year for our “Ed Night,” John, will explore the local world of Sand Tiger Sharks.

Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School.

John is a Marine Fisheries Biologist with The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries, as well as a nature photographer and videographer. Since 2006, he has been researching Sand Tiger Sharks in Duxbury - Kingston - Plymouth Bay. Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served. Please spread the word, as others are welcome to join. This is a family event, but it is more appropriate for children ages 5 and older.
